Our fees
We’re always open and honest about what we charge for advice and the value our work can provide
Delivering a personal service
We know how important it is for a financial planner to be transparent and honest. That’s why we’re clear about how we charge, and all fees will be agreed on at the first meeting. This allows you to feel safe in the knowledge that there will be no hidden costs along the way. We don’t charge for the initial meeting as this is where we figure out if we can work together. Full details are provided in our Terms of Engagement document.
Unlike many other firms, the majority of our initial fees are fixed rather than percentage-based. You’ll know exactly what you are paying and the fees are based on the service provided, not the size of your portfolio.
The value of financial advice
For example, during our initial review, which includes a basic financial plan, we charge a fixed fee of £750 (subject to VAT when applicable).
If we handle the implementation of the recommendations, we will charge an additional fee to cover our administration costs (not subject to VAT), this will be one of the following depending on the complexity of your situation:
- A single investment or pension, or a new regular savings plan (excluding drawdown): £500
- Two to five pensions and/or investments or any drawdown plan: £1,000
- More than six investments and/or pensions, any trust related work, long term care, estate planning, tax planning, referral to discretionary fund manager or generally complex finances: £2,000
These charges are an example of our core service and other services will be subject to different fees. Full details can be found in our Terms of Engagement.
Over the many years we’ve worked together, Jonathan’s professionalism, knowledge, and service have been of great reassurance. His Chartered status is a testament to his excellent financial planning acumen. He has been fundamental in helping us achieve our objectives. I would recommend Jonathan to anyone in need of a very good adviser.
When I first met Jonathan, my affairs were complex, required considerable review and adjustment, and I had specific objectives to achieve. Jonathan has surpassed the original objectives. Regular meetings, combined with many “Can we have a quick catch-up" calls, have ensured I have a hugely reliable partner who I can trust.
We couldn’t recommend Jonathan more highly for his understanding, supportive, and expert approach in advising on our pension and investment options. He’s always been very responsive, courteous, and sensitive in all interactions and explained complex areas in layperson's terms. We look forward to many more years of having him manage our financial affairs.
Jonathan has been my financial adviser for more than eight years. He’s always been extremely knowledgeable and professional, and I value his exceptional skills in explaining complex financial matters clearly. He has a very friendly, calm, and warm personality and always goes the extra mile.
Jonathan has been advising me for several years on my pensions and retirement income solutions. He is a true professional, and his recommendations are well thought through and are specific to me.
